All cars must be insured with premium insurance policy or 1st party to register and the driver must be an authorised person to drive the car with his/her name is listed on the policy
Driving Licence
Full license, D is a must. No P is allowed to register.
App commission @ service fee

SPAD's terms and specifications for e-Hailing service vehicles
Vehicle model
- Open to all vehicle model which have minimum three (3) ASEAN Star NCAP rating or its equivalent under category:
- Compact;
- Sedan,
- Multipurpose vehicle (MPV); and
- Specia Utility Vehicle (SUV).
- Vehicle with four (4) wheels and more than two (2) doors only.
Exemption of vehicle model
- E-Hailing vehicles that does not meet the standards of three (3) ASEAN stars NCAP or its equivalent, which has been registered by LPP holders before November 1st , 2018 are allowed to continue to be used up to 31st December 2022 or until the age limit of 10 years (whichever is earlier); and
- Vehicles registered by LPP holders on and after 1st November 2018 shall comply with the current e-hailing vehicle model guidelines.
Seat loads
4 -11 seats by type of vehicle (including driver’s seat).
Color
The color of the vehicle is open to all type of colours. However, the following are prohibited:
- Too many colors;
- Spots of colours;
- Resembles any official color or official pattern of any vehicle owned and use by enforcement agencies; and
- Resembles any color of the public service vehicle such as Taxi, Luxury Car and Luxury Taxi.
Licensed age
- CKD vehicles - not more than 9 years old from the date of registration with JPJ
- CBU vehicles - no more than 9 years from the year made by the manufacturer of the said vehicle.
Vehicle age limit
- CKD Vehicles - not more than 10 years from the date of registration with JPJ
- CBU vehicles - no more than 10 years from the year made by the manufacturer of the said vehicle.
PUSPAKOM checkup
All CKD & CBU vehicles - once a year when vehicles exceed age of three (3) years from the date of registration with JPJ.
Car body sign
Must display sticker identification for e-hailing vehicles issued by JPJ.
