How does CiaoZ charge our fares?
A: Ciaoz is on a fixed rate basis. The fare is calculated based on the distance between the pickup and drop off points entered and the estimated travel time but do note that toll charges are not included in the estimated fare and all toll charges are to be borne by passengers.
What are the service operating hours?
A: CiaoZ service operate 24 hours a day throughout the week, but subject to availablity of cars at the moment of booking. It is suggested passenger to do advance / schedule booking for the un usual hours like midnight to 6am, so a driver will be pre-assign to you
Where is this service available?
A:West Malaysia with much availablity in the Klang Valley. Other states in Malaysia availabity will be increased.
How long before my appointment time do I need to call Ciaoz?
A:When you view the app it shows how far away your closest driver is at that time, so you will need to gauge accordingly. If you already confirmed your traveling time much earlier, our system allows advance/ schedule booking. Just specify the date and time you need for the pick-up
How much time in advance should I give to make an advance booking?
A: Advance booking need to be made at least 30 minutes in advance.
Is there any surcharge for advance booking?
A:There is no additional surcharge for advance booking with CiaoZ
If the GPS location detected by the Ciaoz app is wrong, how do I amend the address?
A:If the GPS location detected is wrong, you can tap to change the pick-up location, then manually key in the building name, block number, street name or postal code in the "Enter Address" field to correct it. There is also a map icon in the app that you can use to assist you.
Is it necessary to tip the driver?
A: Tipping is not mandatory. Tipping should be done at your discretion as a reward or as an additional incentive to driver in the following situation:
1. During the peak hour or traffic jam, most of the driver might be reluctant to get caught in the jam.
2. To pick you up from or to remote location. In this case, driver may have to take the extra effort to send you to or pick you up from that location. Most of them will make to make an empty trip to / from the pickup / drop off location.
